It's like the kangaroo scrotum. But it's like a penis. Or a nose maybe. But it's also like a scrotum in relation to the sponge which is like a penis. But it doesn't hang off the spone-penis, it comes from within it. I can imagine some people not wanting to live in it.
these kinds of forms come up in your work alot. i don't get the phallus thing from them - more like a pistil...
